His twenty-five year experience began in core manufacturing before he moved onto management consulting. He was an early participant in the Indian IT revolution with an Indian multi-national and contributed to building the implementation, channel development and Global business development initiatives of the company. On his return to India, he trained as a TOC expert and led the supply chain consulting practice of a multinational major, before starting his new career as an entrepreneur with Aspire.
Aspire is the outcome of Ramas’s long term fascination with the SME (or as he calls it, the OMB — Owner Managed Business) segment and its inherent potential and value.
